Global Armor (Thailand) Limited, a joint venture between the RM Asia Group and Craig International Ballistics Pty Ltd today unveiled the first of its production line of armoured B6/NIJ III Ford Everest vehicles. The vehicle is being displayed at the 2006 International Aid and Trade event held at Geneva Palexpo in Switzerland.
The conference will discuss real, current, and emerging humanitarian challenges. The exhibition will combine providers of the latest humanitarian relief goods and services, with leading agencies and organizations administering relief in the field.

Craig International Ballistics, in conjunction with Boroko Motors New Guinea, recently built a specially designed 7 seater armoured Nissan Patrol for Her Royal Highness Princess Anne's visit to Papua New Guinea's 30th Independence anniversary celebrations
The vehicle offered a high level of protection utilising the latest in lightweight armour technology in the entire vehicle as well as having tyre safety bands for additional protection from puncture or blowout.

FURTHER BOOST TO QUEENSLAND PRISON SECURITY |
Security at Queensland jails just got tougher!
Premier Peter Beattie and the Minister for Police and Corrective Services, Judy Spence, today unveiled the latest weapon to patrol the state's prisons - armour plated four-wheel-drive vehicles. Mr Beattie said the modified Holden Rodeos would be used to provide perimeter patrols of Queensland's correctional centres.
"We already have a proud record of no escapes from secure custody in our seven years of government, but these vehicles are about getting even tougher on security," Mr Beattie said.
"These are among the first vehicles to be fully fitted out. Four of them will be picked up for transportation tomorrow to regional Queensland so that they can start operations at Lotus Glen, Townsville, Capricornia and Maryborough in mid-June.

MAY 2005 - CRAIG INT. BALLISTICS / TENIX DEFENCE DELIVER LUXURY LIMOUSINES |
Foreign dignitaries visiting Australia and Australia 's high office holders will have greater security protection with the delivery of new armoured cars to the Australian Government.
Tenix Defence has presented two new armoured cars to Federal Attorney-General, Philip Ruddock, in Canberra.
The vehicles are the first of 10 limousines, custom designed, built and delivered by Tenix Defence Land Division. It is the first time an Australian company has armoured luxury limousines.

APRIL 2005 - CRAIG INTERNATIONAL BALLISTICS WINS AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE CONTRACT |
Craig International Ballistics is proud to be selected by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as the winner to the most recent tender for the supply of ballistic plates. The submitted model CIB19 ballistic plate was specially designed to meet the ADF's requirements and is one of the lightest NIJ III+ ballistic plates on the world market today. The CIB19 is manufactured from Silicon Carbide and UHMWPE materials.
The tender, for more than 20,000 ballistic plates (S.A.P.I), had over two dozen submissions from all regions around the world.

2002 - US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SELECTS FOREIGN DEFENSE
EQUIPMENT FOR TESTING |
The US Department of Defense
has selected 27 new start projects and 13 continuing projects
to receive Fiscal Year (FY) 2003 funding under the Foreign
Comparative Testing (FCT) Program.
Army New Start Projects
Ballistic Armor for Helicopters
Australia, United Kingdom.This project will evaluate
lightweight ballistic armor, developed for law enforcement
use by Craig International Ballistics of Australia and Meggitt
of the United Kingdom, for use on the RAH-66 Comanche Helicopter.
If successful, the project would not only provide increased
ballistic protection over the current armor, but also greatly
reduce the overall weight of the aircraft, thereby improving
operational performance. Comanche is a vital program in
the U.S. Army's Transformation process.
