Our AV40 series ballistic plate carrier vest is designed to hold two (Front & Back) 10" x 12" ballistic plates (S.A.P.I). It can be worn over normal clothes or over concealable body armour to give a higher level of protection. It can also be worn as a stand alone garment, for use by back-up Police officers, who may not normally wear body armour.

It is extremely lightweight and durable. It is normally made in 420 denier nylon black or Navy and can also include identifying decals (Reflective Police Signs) and MOLLE webbing.
